Submission Criteria

Entry Requirements

Hong Kong Design Centre warmly invites you to participate in this tribune of design excellence, without limit of submission. However, please note that the following criteria apply: 

  1. The entry must have actually been produced and (in the case of commercial products) have become available# in one or more Asian markets* between 1st January 2020 and 31st May 2022.
     
  2. Designs that are still under development and/or have not yet been commercially launched between 1st January 2020 and 31st May 2022, as well as show flats, prototypes, renderings and artists' impressions of designs are ineligible as entry.

  3. The entry must be submitted by the design's owner or its client, the brand's owner, its designer or its design consultancy. Hong Kong Design Centre may request entrant to submit a Letter of Support when awarded, to certify the owner agree to the entry submission.
 
an entry must have become available means:
  • Fashion & Accessory / Product & Industrial Design : Actual product of the work that started / will start for selling and/or can be touched by user in above-mentioned period
  • Communication Design / Digital & Motion Design : Design concepts developed for customers but not launched in the market due to a failed bid will NOT BE ACCEPTED
  • Spatial Design / Service & Experience Design : A place or a service that started/ will start for using (and sales, if appropriate) in above-mentioned period
